4 Best Tips for Glowing Healthy Skin Fast

  • 2 min read

There’s a lot of bad skincare advice out there.

And sadly, a lot of it comes directly from the beauty industry trying to sell you stuff you don’t need.

I’m here to give it to you straight and help you achieve glowing skin without needing to buy sixteen different products.

...

4 things I wish my clients knew about skincare

1. You don’t need to cleanse your face in the morning

Oh yeah. Let it sink in.

Of course, you should be washing your face in the evening to clean off the buildup of the day. But in the AM? Just splash water on your face for a quick rinse.

We don’t want to strip our face of the beautiful oils that come up overnight - that’s your skin doing it’s thing, and that’s healthy!

Especially if you have acne, resist the temptation to overwash your face to try to “dry it out.” Your skin is smart and will start producing more oil to compensate for the dryness. This leads to more congestion...more flare ups...and we don’t want that.

2. You can achieve beautiful skin without a 10-step morning routine

Here’s what you really need:

- A gentle and effective cleanser

- One treatment product that protects, feeds, and nourishes the skin and promotes new skin cells

- A high-quality sunscreen

That’s it.

You don’t need a medicine cabinet full of products. You need three really, really, good products to get the job done.

(By the way...the whole thing about needing a separate day and night cream is a marketing ploy to get you to spend more. Oftentimes the only difference is that the day cream has SPF.)

3. Peel pads are your friend

I recommend using high-quality, professional peel pads at home 2-3 times a week. It’s about stimulating the skin so it can repair itself with new, beautiful, healthy skin cells. It’s like taking your skin to the gym.

4. You need sunscreen - every day

Unless you’re spending the entire day underground in a cave, you need to wear sunscreen every single day. Apply sunscreen on top of your other products. It should be the last thing to go on your face.
